Tea and Beautiful Thoughts

2018 Vancouver tea festival fun!

Lars Nielsen

I always have the best time at the tea festival.

It's so fun to explore different perspectives too.

This year I was in a booth looking outward as the world rushed by. My booth got really busy at times and at other times I was able to truly enjoy a moment of peace with my tea.

We took some pictures and videos, and boy did I have a decent set up. It was super haphazard, just kind of the minimum effort. Showing the loose leaf and having bags available from under the table.

But people loved it.

Depending on the state of my life next year, I'm hoping I can do the same. Just buying and reselling is really fun. With my minimum sales and low margin on product, I don't expect to "make" much money. If I wanted to make money I would have to change distributors.

I expect that those who are at the festival who have lower tea cost can have the kind of margin that lends to a really profitable time for them.

Looking forward to hearing all the positivity from the exhibitors.

I'm pretty excited and it's coming out a little bit as anxiety. I didn't have as much control over this as I did in previous years because my BI job has taken so much of my time.

But here I go. Head first. My favorite way to learn if I'm good at something.

I'll tell you all about it after!!

I keep promising I'll post more media for all my followers and friends.

I mean, I keep promising myself that.

Here's the yearly self-reminder that I want to share all these tea things with *everyone*

Tea festival is 2 days away. I took the weekend off. It's the first time I'm getting a table. As usual I've been looking forward to this for months.

if you come, let me know you like the idea of my blog. I'll give you a bit of a tea discount on what I'm selling.

I'm not usually much of a seller. I'm a sharer. It's actually a mentality I have to deal with. It's what makes it hard to keep up a blog.

I want to look in your eyes while showing you my products. I want to illustrate my feelings while seeing what this exploration does to you in real time.

At least now I have a good new phone. I could probably write a blog from this thing on slow days at work, yeah?

I'm looking forward to seeing you at the festival!
