I am so lucky to be where I am right now.
I have the opportunity to use my spare time to organize a tea tasting event with the tea community.
I'm pretty excited. It's going to be big. I've already rented Heritage Hall on Main street for March 15th.
The focus of the event will be to share the range of flavours inside of tea. So all of the flavours you can find from the whitest of the whites to the blackest of the blacks. We will end up having Puerh, Darjeeling, African black, definitely black tea.
pretty much everything.
So this event is going forward whatever happens, but I kinda hope that we go above and beyond and end up with 700 people. But that's dreaming, and I like dreaming.
Heritage hall holds a max of 200 people at once. And hopefully, within 5 hours, we can get enough interest.
I enjoy focusing on flavour, and helping facilitate the learning process. It's so fun to watch people's faces as they notice the subtleties, especially when compared to a tea that they would have previously thought was exactly the same.
I'll keep you posted, but this is turning out to be quite exciting, and a great use of my time!
